I am writing to formally report a serious issue regarding service performed on my 2023 Dodge Challenger. I believe I was deliberately overcharged for work that was never performed. I brought my car in for service and was charged over $1,034.39 for HID headlight bulbs. That evening after the repair, I noticed that the headlights were not bright as expected for HID lighting. The entire purpose of paying for HID bulbs is increased brightness, and the performance was clearly inconsistent with that type of equipment. This raises and my concerns, I had the headlights inspected by a former professional auto mechanic whom I trust. Upon inspection the bulbs installed by your technician are clearly labeled on both headlights as: PEAK HILL 9012LL 12V 55/4 DOT KOREA This is a standard halogen bulb, not an HID bulb. I have clear photographic evidence documenting this. This confirms that I was charged for HID bulbs that were never installed. The service advisor specifically stated that the HID bulbs were expensive and required special ordering. I was also told that removal of the front bumper was necessary to perform this installation. This did not occur. I can confirm this because the clips connecting the front grille, bumper, and skid plate were never removed or disturbed. The bumper was never taken off. I was charged for HID parts and labor that were not performed, and instead a generic halogen bulb was installed.

I want to take a moment to recognize Napleton Dodge for the outstanding care and professionalism they showed me during a very stressful situation with my vehicle. Alan Kurtz, the manager, went above and beyond by personally arranging to have my vehicle picked up directly from my home so it would not have to be driven while experiencing a severe oil leak. That level of consideration and customer care immediately set the tone and gave me confidence I was in the right place. From there, Alan put me in the hands of Pat Lannon, the Service Manager, and it was truly smooth sailing. Pat assigned his best mechanic to my truck and, for the first time in a year, a long-standing oil leak issue was finally diagnosed and properly resolved. Throughout the entire process, Pat provided regular updates along with video proof and photos of the work being done, which showed transparency, honesty, and pride in his work. Pat never wavered in his strict work ethic and commitment to getting the job done right. That kind of integrity is rare these days and is something I deeply respect and admire. His honesty and communication are exactly what every consumer hopes for when trusting someone with their vehicle. I came to Napleton Dodge because another dealership failed to address my issue. Napleton did exactly the opposite — they listened, they cared, and they delivered. Thank you Alan Kurtz and Pat Lannon for restoring my faith in dealership service. My Ram is in service now going on 4 weeks. Not a fault of Napleton but unable to get the part that is needed. I was supplied with a loaner which is a life saver. I appreciate this so much.
