The 2024 RAM 2500 and 3500 are full-size, heavy-duty pickup trucks. Competitors include the Chevrolet Silverado 2500HD and 3500HD, GMC Sierra 2500HD and 3500HD, and Ford F-Series Super Duty.
The base model Tradesman is powered by a 410-hp, 6.4-liter Hemi V-8 engine mated to an eight-speed automatic transmission. Also available are two Cummins diesel 6.7-liter six-cylinder engines, which are joined with a six-speed automatic, one of which produces 1,000 pounds-feet of torque. Rear-wheel drive comes standard, while four-wheel drive is optional.
Both the 2500 and 3500 models have a multitude of configurations. Tradesman, Lone Star, Laramie, Power Wagon, Longhorn, and Limited trim levels are available.
