Neck breaking rugged luxury

This truck is the best most comfortable high roller truck I’ve ever been in, especially the creature comforts. Imagine the remote start automatically cooling or warming the truck before you get in, the pulling out of the driveway with a satisfying rumble.

Most comfortable riding pickup I have owned

Best truck I have owned Great ride and excellent space in cab and back seat. Extra storage space in console and under back seats is amazing

Great concept terrible truck

by Eric from Stratford NJ | November 19, 2019

I unfortunately own the 1500 ecodiesel that is an absolute nightmare. I have had a check engine light 4 times in which FCA (rams mother company) can not fix nor will they stand behind. I have purchased many Rams before this one and still don't get any kind of consideration that they sold this lemon. STAY AWAY FROM THE ECODIESEL AND AS FAR AS CUSTOMER SERVICE OR BACKING OF THEIR PRODUCTS STAY AWAY FROM FCA.

2018 RAM 1500 Overview

The Ram 1500 competes against the Chevrolet Silverado, Ford F-150 and Toyota Tundra in the light-duty, full-size pickup truck market and offers unique features like an available RamBox cargo management system and four-corner air suspension. The heavy-duty Ram 2500 and 3500 trucks are covered separately in the Cars.com Research section.

The 1500 is available in three body styles (regular cab, quad cab and crew cab) and with three cargo box lengths (from 5 feet 7 inches to 8 feet). It's offered with a choice of gas V-6 or V-8 power or a turbo-diesel V-6.

New for 2018
A backup camera is now standard, and high-end Limited Tungsten and farm-oriented Harvest editions of the Ram 1500 are newly available. Rebel versions can now have a leather interior.

The available 8.4-inch multimedia system now has a higher-resolution touchscreen with pinch-to-zoom functionality, incorporates HD Radio and available 4G LTE Wi-Fi, and supports Apple CarPlay and Android Auto smartphone connectivity. Available emergency communication services are provided by SiriusXM Guardian, and there's also now a switch in the cargo bed for the available LED bed lights.
