My new truck meets all of my expectations. When I was looking for a new truck, I never thought that I would be able to afford a truck with all of the features that it has. I have found my dream truck.

RAM 1500 Crewcab

First and foremost is I am a fan of Dodge/Ram products. Like other dodge products I've owned I am enjoying this truck. I purchased this truck used (2017 with 22,000) and it runs how you would expect from a mostly used truck. I like the additional storage compartments. It is roomy with being able to store fishing poles that will not break down it we need to. So far I have only hauled one load of firewood but it seems to handle the weight good. I purchased the truck because I am planning to haul a camper trailer in the next year or so, and we enjoy camping, fishing, and hunting. This truck, probably like most trucks, will do the job. Again I purchased the used truck because it is nearly new with a good price and I like Dodge/Ram products.

Great so far!

I have only owned this truck for a month but so far I am very impressed. It has a smooth ride, is very comfortable, good power for a V6, looks great inside and out.

2017 RAM 1500 Overview

The RAM 1500 competes against the Chevrolet Silverado, Ford F-150 and Toyota Tundra in the light-duty, full-size pickup truck market and offers unique features such as an available RAMBox cargo management system and a four-corner air suspension. The heavy-duty RAM 2500 and 3500 trucks will be covered in a separate overview.

The 1500 is available in three body styles (regular cab, quad cab and crew cab) and with three cargo box lengths (from 5 feet 7 inches to 8 feet). It's offered with a choice of gas V-6 or V-8 power or a turbo-diesel V-6.

New for 2017

Certain RAM trim levels gain more standard features: The Rebel gets the Uconnect 8.4 multimedia system, dual-zone automatic air conditioning, remote start, a backup camera and rear parking sensors. The Sport model adds remote start and a security alarm, and the Big Horn gains automatic air conditioning.
