Purchased a pre-owned vehicle in May of 2024.
Purchased a pre-owned vehicle in May of 2024. My salesman was Gary O. He was very patient and professional. As we were ready to leave the parking long I noticed some control buttons were not functioning so I called the salesperson and a service advisor. They acknowledged the issue and we left the vehicle for repairs. The question was did they really do an inspection? It seemed to me they were hoping I’d overlook it. Furthermore the vehicle had a strong smoke odor (during the test drive ac was blowing cold air and we didn’t smell it but as vehicle sat in the sun during the paperwork, it was awful), was not really clean (beverage spill everywhere, central console had a large spill dried up , right side mirror broken, rear cup holder busted, air filter and cabin air filter had not been replaced but these are really little things. The tail gate didn’t work right from the time I test drove it. They promised to fix and they didn’t. I brought it back and they said there was nothing wrong with it. 2 months later I am still struggling with it. Picking people from the airport and have them watch me struggle to open it or at a grocery parking lot. This also limits my access to the third row, and that’s the reason I purchased it. For a time I stopped using it, because it is really frustrating. When you try to open it manually it takes a lot of efforts and strength not like Honda Pilot or other vehicles, where you can open it with little effort. I mentioned my buyer’s remorse to them but there was no answer. Also had to call them many times, leaving VMs, sending text msgs…I get it, after sale support never has been a priority. I doubt I’d buy anything from them in the future and I wouldn’t recommend my friends and family.

To make a long story short.
To make a long story short. The Porsche Glendale dealer, Umansky Motors, sold me a pre-owned car. It was the worst and most stressful buying experience I ever had. They originally lied about the sale price. They changed it later that week The cancellation was post dated which seemed scrupulously snake like! My large down payment was deducted from the retail price, not the sale price. They told me there would be a second key fob, and there wasn’t. I now have to purchase it at the full retail price. I told them I had to get to work later that day and would finish on my day off the next day. They didn’t seem to care and rushed the whole process. When the finance department talked me into getting the maintenance plan and gap insurance. I was told it would only cost $1900. That was a lie. I found out after canceling that it was a total of over $3100. I had my elderly mother with me, and they treated us like just a number to reach their quota. They ignored my calls and email messages for days. I only received some results after telling them I would contact the local news media or legal representation and leave negative reviews. I received my refund of over $3100, postdated. Not only that, but I purchased a pre-owned BMW small SUV. I was also told I would receive a loyalty credit of over $700. That was a lie. It was nowhere in the contract when I was rushed out of there like a criminal. I believe there was misrepresentation foul play and fraud in the contract that cost me more than I should've paid. On top of that, they fed me the line. The higher monthly payment can be lowered in six months if I refinance. After much legality research, I read that’s a lie. The icing on the cake was. When I finally got to drive off the lot, they left me with less than twenty miles of gas to get home on. My trade-in had almost a full tank of gas. I was finally told they would give me a gas gift card, but I never received it. It all wasn’t very honest; and deceptive beyond belief. It was very exhausting and a stressful buying experience.I’m very upset and mad over this whole stealership situation! I am willing to bet most of their positive feedback is all from current and former employees! Buyers Beware! Save the headache and your money for a more deserving dealership!
