  • Small crossover that comes in five trims, including the NISMO and NISMO RS
  • Color Studio program lets you customize the color of different trim pieces
  • Two limited “Stinger Edition by Color Studio” SV packages new for 2016
The nimble yet alien-looking 2016 Nissan Juke returns unchanged, but introduces two new, limited Stinger Edition SV packages – yellow and black.

The Stinger Editions are yin-and-yang in terms of their exterior color treatments. The Yellow Stinger has primarily a yellow paintjob with black accents. And the Black Stinger has a black paintjob with yellow accents. Both come with the same black interior with bold, yellow trim pieces.

The Juke comes in five different trims: the S, SV, SL, NISMO and NISMO RS.

On the outside, the Juke features the same strange headlight and muscular body styling from last year. 17-inch alloy wheels are still standard. The NISMO and NISMO RS are treated with unique front and rear bumpers, larger wheels, and a rear spoiler. The Color Studio program returns, allowing owners to choose their own accent colors for the side mirrors, headlights, front and rear bumpers, etc.

The Juke comes standard with a 188-hp, turbocharged 1.6-liter 4-cylinder engine. The front-wheel drive NISMO RS keeps the same engine, but it has been retuned to make 215-hp and comes with a 6-speed manual transmission.All-wheel drive versions of the NISMO RS come with a continuous variable automatic transmission (CVT) and its engine output is 211-hp. The rest of the Juke trims have a CVT  standard.

Inside, the five-seat Juke has numerous standard features that give it great value for the money –   starting MSRP is slightly over $20,000. Standard features include push-button start, USB port, Bluetooth connectivity, air conditioning, cruise control, and power windows/locks. Between the two front seats is still a body colored trim piece that houses the cup holders and storage compartments. Optional features include leather upholstery, navigation, and heated front seats.

For safety, the Juke has a backup  camera, six airbags, anti-lock brakes, and an electronic stability system, which are all standard.
