I HAVE DECIDED TO EDIT MY ORIGINAL REVIEW: After Chad, the GM of Lewis Nissan called us personally, he apologized for our experience at his dealership and is working on getting the part we need for our 2020 Nissan pickup truck. He has promised a fair price for the part we need. We certainly appreciate Chad taking the time to call us personally and work with us to come to an agreement on a fair price for the part and he is genuinely concerned about the cusromer experience. Thank you, Chad, General Manager at Lewis Nissan, Becklel, WV.

Me and my wife was there about 2 weeks ago on a Saturday and talked to Joe White and waited for a little while and he came back and said the banks are closed and he would let us know something in a couple days if you was not going to help us you should have just said then instead of saying you would let us know something in a couple days I don't like playing games when it comes to stuff like this 3 months earlier he helped my son with a purchase I didn't think he be this way I guess I was wrong it has been a never heard back from him.

Reviewed by Ken L from Crab orchard WVFebruary 05, 2024

The first 2 paragraphs are exactly what I wrote on the survey that NISSAN sent me. Had the truck a little over a year. Just not pleased with this truck at all. Display for mileage, miles to empty, outside temp is so dim I can't read them in bright sunlite weather. Has lots more road noise than the GMC Canyon I traded in on it. 2-3 monthS ago I pulled out from stop and maybe 15-20 MPH the trans changed but didn't get next gear. Engine reved to 5-6 and then trans caught with a loud BAM. Did it on next change, but not as bad. Has changed OK since. Started truck on coldest morning we've had so far this winter. Outside temperature display read 0. THE HEATER FAN WOULD NOT RUN. The display showed different fan speeds, but FAN DID NOT RUN. I drove several miles with no heat or defrost and lots of ice on windshield. Got in truck to return home and fan worked fine. When using Cruise Control and come to a WV hill, C/C revs the engine till it's screaming for a few seconds and then returns to speed it should have been to start with. The center dash display went blank and had to drive like that till I could get to dealer. They reset it and so far has been OK. Had them check the dash light thing and they could not make them brighter. I know there's no use to take it to dealer for these other issues. They will check heater and say it's fine. Drive truck and say trans changes fine also. I ALSO DOUBT I'LL EVER HEAR ANYTHING FROM YOU. Sure wish I had my Canyon back. I think even the old Nissan truck the lady is driving in the commmercial would beat this PIECE OF JUNK. I have owned 5 or 6 Nissan trucks and this is the WORST BY FAR. Don't really trust it to go any distance. I am a Viet Nam combat veteran disabled with PTSD and am told to avoid stress and try to not get upset. When I spend Near $40 K on a truck and get a PIECE OF GARBAGE (it really deserves the other word) like this, how could I not be upset? The transmission and defrost issues could be very dangerous. When the GENERAL MANAGER at Lewis, who had been so courteous and kind when trying to getmy money, read what I wrote, he must have thought my truck problems were not ehough, He turned on me like a beast. He belittled me, insulted me, smart mouthed everything that I said. He knew about my PTSD and tried his best to STRESS ME OUT. Talked down to me about the heater not working. (Well if you had turned the engine off, opened the door, broke the circuit and restarted the engine, the heater would have worked.) Guess I missed that in the manual. Maybe I should have kicked a tire and spit on the tail pipe just to be sure. Wouldn't even let me explain how the Cruise Control wasacting.VERYRUDELY interupted with (ARE YOU AN ENGINEER? CAN YOU BUILD A BETTER TRUCK?) tHAT DID IT FOR ME.I just got up and walked out rather than let him feed his ego even more and me become more upset. He did do one good deed. He encourged me to buy another brand. Thats exactly what I did I went to the TOYOTA dealer and the first time there I got THREE THANK YOU FOR YOUR SERVICE comments. IDON'T REMEMBER EVER GETTING EVEN ONE at the Nissan dealer. I guess if the Big Cheese has absolutely no respect whatsoever for veterans, can't really expect the workers to show any either. The Frontier was a 2022 model with maybe 8500 miles. I bought a 2023 toyota Tacoma and it now has over 10,000 miles on it. I have had zero problems with it. THAT IS ZERO PROBLEMS. His actions are typical of most Silver Spoons, that have had theirs handed to them, I have encountered several of them over my many years. I earned every dollar I spent on that truck, AND LOST. So you vets can belive me or not. but I swear, to the best of my ability, every thing I've said about the truck and the manager is the truth. Had to give one star to submit. Deserves Zero
