Had the most frustrating experience with Nissan of Boerne

Reviewed by Julia from Bourne, TXNovember 24, 2025

Had the most frustrating experience with Nissan of Boerne and specifically Fabian Amaro. We had previously left a good review bc we were hounded and harassed while still in the dealership before we had even gone to finance. He came and asked us 10 times to right a 5 star review on multiple sites. They care about the sale and as soon as you're out the door you're dead to them. This dealership talks about transparency and honesty and that was the furthest thing from what we got. They don't honor the deals that were listed on their site then lied to our face about it being incorrect and that it was being updated (over a week later its still the same), they realized they had a pre-owned vehicle that was the exact same car so they didn't want to give a better deal on the new one. We asked over and over for the inspection they did when the pre-owned truck was brought back to the dealership since it had a sticker that said "as-is no dealer warranty" and we still never got one. Then I asked about having it certified or if there were options for adding on warranty and then all of a sudden it's certified pre-owned now... that's a little shady. MANY other issues later we take the keys to the car and realized they don't have a spare key. We asked about it and were told they would look for it and reach out to the old owner if they don't have it. If they couldn't get one they would figure out a way to have one sent to us. We wait and they never reach out, we reach out multiple times and are given the roundabout each time until we're finally calling the dealership directly trying to speak with someone. We spoke with a "manager" which had no authority to do anything and refused to get us a key bc it would cost them $600 ish..... we just bought a $50k truck and you can't toss in a spare key?!? Or be up front about the car BEFORE selling it about it not having a spare key and that having to be an expense on our end. Of course now everyone is denying that we were told we would get a spare key and it's all on us. Oh also, we got hung up on... how professional.

Fraudulent dealership, very subpar for any reputable

Reviewed by w.scruggsNovember 20, 2025

Fraudulent dealership, very subpar for any reputable dealership. Was told had to purchase drive for life warranty on vehicle, once we said no they then added in the drive for life warranty into the price of the vehicle. Was also told that to purchase vehicle under writer for loan required to purchase an additional warranty on top of the drive for life so called warranty. This owner is a fraudulent and subpar business owner. Their lack of communication/ avoidance of this matter is proof in itself that they are a fraudulent business. Was never given any of the completed paperwork as well as was told a 2023 vehicle with a factory warranty was so called sold as is. This vehicle never had any as is paperwork that was signed and was sent a video of the vehicle with the sales associate stating that this vehicle was in excellent condition, when in fact received vehicle and found several items at fault no hood studs to hold hood open, broken head light (Safety issue). Was told that they had a new sales manager (Doug), after several so attempts to communicate with this so called veteran who cared about veterans was told that they could not do anything because ownership said vehicle was sold as is ( fraudulent claim). Avoid this dealer at all cases they will not work and fix their mistakes. After several attempts to locate a true sales manager was told every time they are on the phone or busy. Then was told by Doug the so called sales manager that this is how the staff is instructed to field phone calls. Was also told by this individual he was at a so call funeral when he was in the office and the staff said he was on the other line and busy. All communication or lack of communication shows guilt and that this dealership knows they are fraudulent and deceptive with their customers. SCAMMERS. Their so called general sales manager changes every other week. since 8/29/2025 they have change sales manager 4 times with different names.

Awful dealership to conduct business with.

Reviewed by Jdehoyos3September 19, 2025

Awful dealership to conduct business with. Spoke with sales rep, Jorge, and confirmed a deal over the phone. We were very transparent that we had pre-approved financing through our bank. Everything was good-to-go over the phone. They said they would have the car detailed and fueled up for the following day so we could pick up. The next morning, my husband and I were headed to Boerne and, while in route, we were appx. an hour away (traveling 3.5 hrs), we get a call/text that they could not go through with the deal if we did not finance through them. I called and asked to speak with the manager, and was told by the manager that they would lose too much money and it would be a better option to send the car to auction if we did not finance with them. I explained that I did not want my credit run multiple times and that was why I obtained pre-approval through my bank and had previously explained all of that to Jorge. I find it absurd that a dealership goes back on their word when the customer was completely transparent and they were the ones that made the mistake. Horrible customer service, awful follow-through. Would give no stars if possible.
