The interaction with this team was so unprofessonal and uncaring related to the problems with my vehicle. I feel like they sold me a "lemon vehicle" and do not want to take any ownership for the problems I am having. Other dealerships in the Mentor area have indicated to me, that they have heard many negative comments about "Mentor Nissan" I am working with another Nissan Dealership and the professionalism I have encountered so far is like night and day. I am really surprised I was never told by my salesman as a reminder about the time frames for oil changes. I am appalled that Mentor Nissan would not allow any follow up or conversation with my salesman. He is not allowed to speak with me. That is so unprofessional. I would not recommend this dealership to anyone. Beware consumers. My overall rating of 1, I feel is a bit too high. Thank you.

While we typically refrain from responding publicly, the ongoing misrepresentations in your posts leave us no choice but to clarify the record. Ross Federico, you brought your vehicle to us on five separate occasions. Each time, our certified Nissan technicians, in coordination with Nissan Engineering, performed full diagnostics. Ross Federico, at no point did those inspections reveal any active fault codes, safety issues, or manufacturer defects. The only confirmed issue was a lane camera calibration error — caused by a non-Nissan windshield replacement you had performed elsewhere — which we corrected as a goodwill gesture. Ross Federico, our team treated your concerns seriously and with respect despite the increasing hostility in your interactions. You repeatedly contacted multiple departments, argued with staff, and made inappropriate remarks to several employees. You even told our General Manager that you would “become his worst nightmare” and would “manufacture problems” with your vehicle until we bought it back. Ross Federico, such conduct is unacceptable toward any business or its employees. We made every effort to help you, including consulting factory engineers, reviewing your claims in good faith, and performing warranty work not required of us. But when repeated threats, false accusations, and disruptive behavior made our employees uncomfortable, we made the appropriate decision to end the service relationship. Ross Federico, the facts remain unchanged: your vehicle performed within manufacturer specifications, and your only verified concern was caused by a non-OEM repair performed outside our care. We respectfully ask that you cease harassing our staff and spreading false claims. Mentor Nissan stands by the professionalism of our employees and our record of handling your concerns responsibly and thoroughly.

Overall experience was good. Our salesperson Angel was very nice and responsive, but it did feel like the price negotiations took far too long. The detailer that cleaned the car before we left did a lousy job. The inside edges of all the doors were dirty and there was still some bird poop on it. We were also disappointed that it had not been charged as promised, especially as this was our first experience with an electric vehicle and they knew we were an hour from home. Terrell in finance was also very nice, knowledgeable and helpful.
