Caught in outright lie

Salesperson outright lied to me. Luckily I choose not the go thru with my purchase. So glad I did stop it even with it costing me my deposit. Just found out today, 3 weeks later the extent of his lying. Would strongly recommend anyone to go elsewhere to purchase a car. Do not use this one.

I really wanted to purchase this vehicle, very nice Toyota Corolla with low mileage. When we went to go see vehicle we were told we could not drive it because the new tires they put on it were defective. Anyway, long story short we were able to drive the car a short distance, Not going over 35 miles an hour. When I looked at the cars history, the brakes needed replaceD. They absolutely refused to replace the brakes because it past the safety inspection According to salesman. When it came time to deal over the price, the salesman would not decrease price at all. Also they were supposed to replace the tire because we did end up purchasing the car. We sat for at least an hour waiting for this new tire and it never showed up. We basically Were there for almost 5 hours. were there for almost 5 hours. Needless to say, my daughter had to go up four days later to pick the car up. On the positive note they did give her a car to drive in the interim. Also the old plates were on the other car and I asked the salesman to get them off and he was not able to get them off. I stated I would wait for someone to get them off and he said he would take care of it. He said he would give them to my daughter when she went to go pick up the car. Well, the plates were never given to my daughter and still are at the dealership and they expect us to go up there and get the plates. We live 45 minutes away from the dealership. I would not recommend this place, I felt because I was purchasing a used car that they were not making much commission off of it. The place was extremely busy I will say. The car salesman seemed a lot more interested in selling their expensive new Nissans. I would never purchase another vehicle from this particular dealership.
