I was treated wrong at this dealership.

Reviewed by Kel Stanley from Hendersonville NCNovember 14, 2025

I was treated wrong at this dealership. I was pressured and manipulated into doing what the salespeople wanted. I said 3 times I did not want to trade my car. I just wanted to see about refinancing. I need more cash on hand. They wanted me to trade in. They LIED and told me refinancing wouldn't help me because it was a new car and refinancing it would be as an used car. They said if I would trade in my 2024 for a 2025, they could definitely lower my monthly payment. I kept asking for numbers, none were given. They asked for and TOOK MY KEYS to check some things on my car. Never saw them again. I asked how much longer would this take because I needed to pick up my son from work. He said let me check, walked off. Never got an answer. Then at the end, the monthly payment was HIGHER than what I pay now. At this time my anixety is going off, I stood up, explained loudly that I can not pay more, I said I want my keys back and I want to go home! I said it 3 times - "I want my keys and I want to go home!" I should have been given my keys then. No questions, right? Because I am obviously under duress, but no. She talked really calm, told me we were just alike and then said she could make the monthly payment less than what I'm paying now and I could have a new car. "Who wouldn't do that?" (Exact quote) She did something and then showed the warranty screen again. The lowest warranty possible made the payment $597. My payment for my 2024 was $600. She said 5 minutes and I would be out. At this point, I'm fighting not to have a panic attack because (guess what?) I have a diagnosed panic disorder and this had already been too stressful. My brain is overloaded and overstimulated and I'm confused. Oh, and my son is still waiting on me too. I just wanted to get out of there, so I just said okay (under duress if course). At that point, I would have licked the floor if they would have said that was the only way to leave. Now another 30 minutes later, I'm still sitting there. I say again that I want to leave through tears. Sent me home in the 2025. My 2024 had the best warranty. Now I have a poop warranty. My 2024 had heated seats, easy unlock doors, easy open trunk and remote start, 360° sensors. This 2025 has none of that. And that's just what I've noticed so far. This didn't benefit me at all. But your salespeople got what they wanted and that's all that matters to yall big companies. Now, I'm also on the autistic spectrum. My brain doesn't process as fast as other brains. Sometimes it takes me a minute to figure stuff out. But I know that I was manipulated yesterday and pressured. Promise of lower monthly payments was a lie to keep me there. I also have a panic disorder, as mentioned. Because of this experience, the Nissan place is now a tigger for me. I will not be able to be there without having a panic attack. I will be throwing up and shaking so bad that people are going to think I'm dieing. Teach your employees that WHEN A PERSON SAYS THEY WANT THEIR KEYS BACK SO THEY CAN GO HOME - GIVE THEM THEIR KEYS IMMEDIATELY! My husband wants me to contact a lawyer. I said I wanted to go home and then they used manipulative tactics to keep me there - that's taking advantage of a person with mental disabilities and who is under duress. I want my 2024 car back.

The salespeople will straight lie to you to get what they want. And if they will lie to you, they will steal from you. They saw I have a mental disability and took advantage of me.
