McCarthy Nissan took care of my purchase needs. My car was not worth much and my credit was just okay. The team at McCarthy Nissan got me approved with a low rate and no money down. I got an awesome vehicle and had fun at the same time I would recommend this dealership to everyone!

I found a car online and messaged the dealer that I was interested and had multiple messages setting up a test drive. It’s a 50 minute drive so I had to plan a day ahead. From the time I told them I was interested til I arrived, they increased the price by almost $1000 and when asked why I was told because we knew you were coming. They honored the original online price via a “rebate”. Next they said because I wasn’t trading in a vehicle the online price would be $2000 more because of a disclaimer that the online price advertised included $2000 dealer cash with trade in. They removed that $2000, because I refused to pay $2000 more for the car and would leave it. They told me about McCarthy assurance that came with the vehicle during the test drive, but was listed as an after market $999 charge. I stated I did not want this and was told every vehicle they sale has it and again I stated I did not want it. A gentleman came up to explain there policy and I stated I wasn’t willing to pay for it and would not use it and that I found another car elsewhere that I could get without it and his reply was “why didn’t you buy it then” at which point I got up to leave due to the aggressiveness. Another gentleman followed us outside to stop us and negotiate taking the assurance off. After we got back to the original internet price I was exhausted and a little irritated. We then waited a lengthy time until we began the paperwork. I told the gentleman I wasn’t interested in any extended warranties or insurance and he insisted on going through the sales pitch. After he completed the pitch I said no. Again was asked why and he even said but I got you a good interest rate so why not. He then said what if the payments stay the same and o add this. I said I didn’t want any of it. I said no before the start and was put in an uncomfortable position many more times having to say no. The whole process was made more difficult by repeated attempts to get a higher price that what was advertised on Cars.com and their own website. Without argument the car would have cost approximately $3500-4000 more than advertised. I will not buy another car from this dealer. Again my saleswoman seemed very nice, I would however have liked the info disclosed about all the add ins disclosed in the multiple emails and text sent to me before I drove almost an hour in the snow to look at this car. Also the price being increased after I messaged them seems a bit slimy to me and left a bad taste in my mouth before I even got there.
