Tenneson Nissan

My senior parents were told there was a special program to help seniors get into cars. The dealership even sent someone to pick them up — then locked them into a used Nissan Rogue (a model well-known for transmission problems) at more than $400 a month for seven years. My parents are adults and made their own choice, but I strongly oppose these misleading business practices. I personally called Nissan’s corporate office, and they confirmed there is no official "senior"program, though they do have zero down incentives and things like that. This appears to be a tactic to get older buyers in the door under false pretenses, then pressure them into high-cost deals. I would never do business with a company that uses this kind of marketing. Be very cautious — especially if you’re an older buyer or have elderly family members.

If I could give less stars I would. Purchased a used 21 Jeep compass in Sept of 2024. Told the salesmen I needed a good car for my teen that was cheap but would be dependable for her. In January it stopped working completely. Tenneson said they could not fix it even though I purchased Warranties that I had to find a Jeep shop, fine I did. But out of 3 different shops I have gave over $1000.00 to no one is able to fix it. I have tried working with Tenneson to get them to trade it but they wanted me to pay double for a car they sold me with issues. Tenneson knew they sold me a car that had issues that were not fixable. Now I am stuck paying a finance company for a car that is not drivable. This is not the first time this dealer has knowingly sold someone a vehicle that would not work. Every time I call the dealer to try to work something out, they refuse to answer my calls or speak to me. I work hard and Tenneson doesn't care about screwing over hard working people. Don't buy cars from these people take your business some place else.

I had my car evaluated at this dealership and it’s been nothing short of a disaster from start to finish. It took several days just to hear back from Deidra, and when I finally did speak to a sales representative about trading in for a used car, they never followed up—completely unprofessional and disorganized. I paid $200 for an inspection and still never received the detailed report I specifically requested. To make matters worse, after I had the vehicle towed, they left a blank, uncut key in the car, rendering it completely unusable. I followed up with Deidra again, asking for my key or a proper key be cut and sent, and—unsurprisingly—was ignored. This dealership clearly has no regard for customer service, communication, or accountability. They’ve wasted my time, money, and patience. I will never return, and I strongly advise others to steer clear of this place.
