This dealership adds $2000 worth of unnecessary add-ons
This dealership adds $2000 worth of unnecessary add-ons to their used vehicles. Directly from their website: The Stargard Vehicle Theft Protection System comes pre-installed on all our New/Used cars for $1,495, Edgegard will be also included on all vehicle to enhancing your protection for just $495. Often referred to as "junk fees" it is a deceptive practice that California law is actively targeting. They are lowballing their listed price by two grand to get their cars to show up at or near the top of the search results. DO NOT SUPPORT THIS DEALER. A new law will go into effect in 2026 that will curtail this.

Nothing is hidden or added without a customer’s full awareness. These products are designed to offer value and protection, and many of our customers choose to keep them; however, they are not mandatory to purchase and can be removed upon request. Regarding California regulations, we follow all current state guidelines and update our processes whenever new legislation takes effect. Our goal is to maintain transparency with every customer while ensuring our vehicles are priced competitively based on market conditions, not to manipulate search rankings.
