Service Department sucks
Made an appointment BC warning light on dash. Service Manger called after a week saying part they changed was not the problem. Kept giving me the runaround after that call. I went to the dealer ship to find my car outside blocked in. I was not nice about it I have to admit and did confront the manager. They would never call me. I asked for rental bc I had extended warranty. While trying to find a rental I called back 2 hours later they told me it was fixed after being in shop for 2 weeks. Went pick it up and they charge full price. The manager said it wasn’t the problem so I wondered why I was paying for a part since he said car still had same issue. When I got home I called warranty company and they told me part and labor was covered and should have only cost me a deductible. I did talk to one of the owners. The service there sucks. Don’t trust the service manager especially if you have extended warranty. If he says part is not covered call to find out yourself. Got refund in the mail without even a apology. I will never buy another Kia until the service manager is replaced. My sister had service issues with her Optima also.
