Stay away - only made the car worse

Reviewed by David Ferguson in Milton, FLJune 08, 2021

73 year old mother brought in her vw that was “misfiring” and running rough. Was told that the car had “bad gasoline” and needed $600 worth of repairs (less than $50 were parts). Two days later, she picks up the car at closing and not only did it smell moldy but it also still ran rough and misfired. Either no one bothered to test drive the car or even worse, they just ignored the problems. Returned the car the following morning and they charged another $300 to fix the car. Obvious that the first effort was useless but they did not give any credits to repair. When I went to pick up the car, they ran an “ionizer” in the car to help with the smell but the mold smell was so strong that it was undriveable without the windows down. Took to another dealer that told me that the mold would need to be remediated to the tune of $1600. Mike, the service manager refused to give any refund on the first misdiagnosis and are now refusing to remediate the mold in the car.

Dishonest and unethical

Reviewed by Nick L in Panama City, FLJanuary 11, 2021

Purchased a 2019 VW Tiguan in May, 2020. Vehicle described as being involved in a "minor accident" prior to being sold. I repeatedly asked for a CarFax report after purchasing the vehicle and was met with repeated excuses as to why, once sold, a CarFax report was no longer available. Not true! I acquired the CarFax report from another dealer which showed a report of severe damage, lowering the value of the car by thousands of dollars. A request to the GM to share maintenance records was denied... both to me and Volkswagen Corporate who remain deeply embarrassed by the actions of this dealership. Shop elsewhere for your next vehicle and don't fall for the military/veteran friendly schtick. Dishonest and unethical. They don't deserve your business.
