2021 MINI MINI-Countryman Overview

The 2021 MINI Countryman is a compact crossover that is the largest MINI in the lineup. It has a maximum cargo capacity of 47.6 cubic feet.

Four trims are available: Cooper, Oxford Edition, Cooper S, and John Cooper Works (JCW).

The Cooper trim is powered by a standard 134-hp, turbocharged 1.5-liter three-cylinder engine mated to a six-speed manual or automatic transmission and front-wheel drive. Opting for all-wheel drive (AWD) replaces the six-speed automatic with an eight-speed.

Powering the Cooper S trim is a 189-hp, turbo 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine mated to an eight-speed automatic. Front wheel drive comes standard, while all-wheel drive is available. The JCW is tuned to produce 301-hp with the turbo 2.0-liter. Both the Cooper S AWD and JCW have a standard six-speed manual transmission and an optional eight-speed automatic.
