Finally--my dream car!

by KariFletch from East Orange NJ | January 01, 2020

This car has it all--stylish, lots of room, bells and whistles, and it's a Mercedes! Love the glass roof sunroof/skylight! The full screen nav is just amazing and doesn't rely on your phone to get you where you need to go. Highly recommend this car.

Very good vehicle

My wife loves this vehicle I bought it for her as a Christmas present and it was the best present I could have ever bought

Best Overall Car I've Every Had

by TimurDC from Washington, DC | October 13, 2019

I was the first person to own a GLA250 in the US. I had the spec model which was pimped out with every single option (even those that never made it to main market). I must say, the fuel efficiency paired with the sporty drive, compact urban size, and open feeling interior makes for the perfect car. It is fun to drive, it is high-tech, it is very safe, it is sporty, and it just gives you a little bit of every type of car you could want. Being a Mercedes Benz, it makes that car even nicer. The quality of everything is top-notch and I would recommend this vehicle to anyone looking for a flexible and nimble vehicle. 5 STARS!

2017 Mercedes-Benz GLA 250 Overview

The 2017 Mercedes-Benz GLA 250 is the entry-level, luxury compact SUV of the lineup. It competes with the BMW X1, Audi Q3, and the Lexus NX 200t. This year, it remains largely unchanged.

Two levels are available: the base GLA 250 and GLA 250 4MATIC.

The GLA 250 has a sporty, yet classy appearance, which features an aerodynamic front-end, a lean sculpted body, and chrome accents. Standard features include fog lights, power/heated side mirrors, a power liftgate, dual pipe exhaust, and 18-inch alloy wheels. Sport body styling, a carbon fiber package, Xenon HID headlights, LED headlights, LED taillights, a panorama moonroof, and larger 19-inch AMG wheels are available as well.

Under the Hood
Powering the GLA 250 is a standard 208-hp, 2.0-liter 4-cylinder engine mated to a 7-speed automatic transmission and front-wheel drive (FWD) or all-wheel drive (AWD). Fuel economy for the GLA 250 with FWD is an EPA-estimated 25/35 mpg city/highway. It drops to 24/32 mpg for the AWD version.

Like other Mercedes vehicles, the 5-seat GLA 250 has a luxurious cabin made with premium materials. The center stack features a standard multimedia system that includes a 7-inch display and pre-wiring for the Garmin Map Pilot navigation system. Keyless entry, push-button start, a tilt/telescoping steering wheel, dual-zone automatic climate control, Bluetooth connectivity for phone and audio, and an emergency communication system also come standard. Optional features include the Garmin navigation system, a satellite radio, leather upholstery, wood dash inserts, heated fronts seats, a power passenger seat, and a Harman Kardon premium audio system.

The GLA 250 has an optional backup camera that displays a full 180-degrees as a new option. Adaptive cruise control, blind spot assist, lane keeping assist, an automated parking system, and rear side-impact airbags are also available. Standard features include forward collision warning with autonomous braking, driver drowsiness monitor, front airbags, antilock brakes, and an electronic stability system.
