2022 Mercedes-Benz E-Class Overview

The 2022 Mercedes-Benz E-Class is a mid-size luxury car that has sedan, coupe, cabriolet, and wagon body styles. Standard features include standard dual-zone automatic climate control, power heated front seats, power-folding side mirrors, and remote start via mobile app. The E-Class competes with the BMW 5-Series, Audi A6, and Genesis G80.

Two trims are available: E 350 and E 450.

The E 350 is powered by a 255-hp, turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine mated to a nine-speed automatic transmission. Rear-wheel drive comes standard, while all-wheel drive is available. Fuel economy for the RWD E 350 is an EPA-estimated rating of 22/31 mpg city/highway. It slightly lowers to a 21/29 mpg rating for the AWD E 350.

Powering the E 450 is a 362-hp, turbocharged 3.0-liter six-cylinder engine with the same drivetrain. It has a lower fuel economy rating of 23/30 mpg rating.
