Worst car buying experience of my life, began having
Worst car buying experience of my life, began having issues with vehicle 3 weeks after purchase , took the vehicle in to have them repair it , apparently they forgot to tell the tech that they had sold me the vehicle and came back with 12,000$ in needed repairs for multiple engine leaks including rear main seal and a new heater core ( the reason I had brought vehicle to them in the first place was because it had no heat ) . When I reminded them they just sold me the vehicle they told Me I would need to bring it somewhere else and to wait until the warranty started and claim warranty . I brought it to an authorized dealership and when they inspected the vehicle they confirmed it did need a heater core however most of the other repairs they claimed it had needed did not exist, and there was one minor oil leak on inlet valve cover . Total repairs under 6,000 $ , warranty company inspected the vehicle and refused warranty because the conditions existed before warranty was purchased in other words they sold it to me that way . Through all of this I had numerous phone calls and emails to Mercedes south Austin management including sales manager , general sales manager and general manager and no one phone call or email was returned, I had to go there in person , after several weeks of this avoidance I was eventually able to speak to the service manager Richie and he was actually helpful and was able to get at least the heat fixed. 3 months and weeks of rental car ( they refused to give me a loaner ) after buys the car I finally got the fixed . Other than Richie the service manager this was the worst customer service I have ever seen , they were rude , dishonest and unprofessional in every way . You would expect better from a business representing a luxury brand like Mercedes.
