I have a lifetime oil change contract.
I have a lifetime oil change contract. When I paid for it I was told I could get work done at the Mercedes Dealership as it is 2 miles away. This has always worked well. I made appointment a few days ahead so they could order the Subaru filter. They didn't order filter. No harm, no foul. People make mistakes. I made another appointment about 5 days ahead. When I dropped off Subaru I asked to make sure they had filter. I was told they would. I got a call that night that they didn't have filter. I had to pick up car next morning. I asked to see the service manager. I asked if he knew it took three times to get an oil filter. He said he was aware. I asked why this was such a problem. He stated, 'Because this is a Mercedes dealership.' He was very curt and seemed to think this was my issue. Discussion went downhill from there. On a side note, I used to work in the corporate side of the automotive aftermarket and taught customer service workshops. This is not a good look for your operation.

Since Eric trueblood has joined the Mercedes service team my experience when Mercedes is servicing my vehicle for whatever reason, has improved 100%. I was especially impressed that they provided a vehicle both times I needed to drop off a vehicle for repairs or service.making my experience super convenient. Also final bill wasn't what they quoted and the repair ran over the quoted price but Eric honored the original quote . which is how auto businesses should operate but oftentimes don't.. In any event, I would choose Mercedes again for my next leased vehicle or purchase.
