Fort Wayne Mercedes is the worst new car dealership

Reviewed by BWSeptember 26, 2025

Fort Wayne Mercedes is the worst new car dealership service department that I have experienced in my life, and I am in my 60's. I traded my S65 on a BMW M760i and my GLS550 on a BMW X5 Msport. The BMW service department has not left me regretting this decision in the slightest. I have loved my Mercedes' for decades and actually prefer them over BMW, but am tired of shipping my cars to Chicago for service because FW Mercedes can't get me in for 3-4 weeks and then wait for another 3-4 weeks for the repair after diagnosis and parts are received on a 6 figure car. The service reps don't seem to care about customer service and have a condescending attitude that you should be honored to deal with them. No more for me....

Brought my 2014 E-350 in for a rear tail light out.

Reviewed by blackbelt760April 22, 2022

Brought my 2014 E-350 in for a rear tail light out. Purchased my car from them too. After having the car all day I was advised it "could" be either the light or a control module. The former being $600, the latter $850. After some research I decided to purchase a OEM rear tail light assembly for $250. I installed it in 30 mins and it worked perfectly. Still have not after 2 months heard from Mercedes who said they would order the parts. Best advice if you own a Mercedes? The dealership should be the last place to take your car if possible.

Even though Finance guy knew I was financing through my bank and tried to get me to go through one of their lenders...Cost me more to add lienholder at BMV...BEWARE
