I just bought a one year old GLE 53 Coupe from michael Moran and had a great experience. He was a real professional, none of the typical car dealer nonsense. Everything was very easy and they delivered the car to me one day later. Very good experience

Here we go.
Here we go...!... I took my 2009 S550 to Mercedes of Orland with a parasitic current drain. My car could be parked overnight an be COMPLETELY dead the next day. My trusted local mechanic worked on this issue for months with no fix. So I decided to bite the Mercedes shop price bullet and take it to them. My experience with the repair was HORRIBLE..!!!! i was told that the car was fixed SEVERAL times and it was NOT. First it was this issue (that I paid for). Then it was that that issue. And then it was the other. As if that was not enough the dealership damaged my vehicle and it needed to be repaired and painted (at their expense...but STILL..!) They literally created problems that I did not have before I took the car to them. The first time I picked up the car the door/cover to the cup holder was "broken". That fix was just a matter of it being snapped back into place. Ummmm...."no biggie". Right? And oh...the car needed to be jumped for me to take it home. The porter said that something was left on inside the car. That statement wound up being false. Also known as a lie..! All the while, the conversations with the mechanics were peppered with language referring to the age of the 77K miles vehicle and if they were justifying not being able to fix it. With all the fast talk and double speak...I can honestly say that I do not know exactly what the real fix to the problem was. Or what I actually paid $3,800.00 for. I think I have had the car about a couple of weeks now and the drain seems to be fixed...finally. But.... My seats are not working now. They don't massage like they did before I took the vehicle to them. But trust me Mercedes of Orland will not touch another vehicle of mine. Geesh...!

Vehicle was in for with appointment from 12/18/24 until 12/30/24 for sunroof shade opened on it's own when driving and that wasn't fixed. Was told that's normal. Also took for noise coming from driver side mirror while driving causing a whistling creeking sound was told they took it apart and lubricated and that caused the paint to fade so they "ordered a new assembly", took 4 days for them to put truck together and finally got it back and literally the same exact noise even worse, my g63 was there for 12 days for absolutely nothing, no progress no fixing absolutely nothing. Spoke with Tim my service advisor and told me that it was "normal". This is my third G63 and it's defiantly not normal noise. I guess saying it's normal is the norm when something isn't fixed. As far as the communication goes, it was just as bad. It would take voicemail after voicemail to get my service advisor to eventually call me back. Definitely a waste of time.
Dealer Response
I'm truly sorry to hear about your frustrating experience with the service on your G63. It sounds like we fell short in both communication and resolving the issues you brought up, which is not what we strive for. I'd appreciate the opportunity to discuss this further and work toward a resolution that meets your expectations. Please feel free to reach out at any time. Thank you, Joseph Cronin - Service Manager - 708-428-8228
