Mercedes-Benz of Laguna Niguel

I had an extremely disappointing experience with Mercedes-Benz of Laguna Niguel. We agreed on price and began the purchase process for a vehicle. I was in communication with the sales representative, sales manager, and finance manager My bank was coordinating payment with the dealership and my down payment method was confirmed. Beginning around 1:00 PM, I repeatedly requested wire instructions so I could complete the transaction. Despite multiple follow-ups throughout the afternoon, I was completely ignored. At approximately 7:00 PM, they called me and I was told the information would be sent shortly — it never was. At 11:07 PM, I received a text stating the vehicle had sold and that it was “the last deal of the day.” Rather than communicating honestly, it appears the dealership continued working another buyer while allowing our deal to progress without transparency. My suspicion is that it the other buyer was local and an easier transaction for them that did not require shipping the car and arranging a notary for the paperwork signing. Yes, they do not use DocuSign or any other electronic signing service. This was not a simple misunderstanding — it was a failure of professionalism and communication.
