2021 Mazda Mazda3 Overview

The 2021 Mazda3 is a compact car that comes as either a four-door sedan or a five-door hatchback. The hatchback has a maximum cargo capacity to 47.1 with the rear seat folded down.

This year, the Mazda3 has three engine options: a standard 155-hp, 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine, a 186-hp, 2.0-liter four-cylinder, and a 227-hp, turbocharged 2.5-liter four-cylinder. These configurations can be identified by their 2.0, 2.5S, and 2.5 Turbo designations. All engine options come mated to a six-speed automatic transmission. Front-wheel drive (FWD) comes standard, while all-wheel drive (AWD) is available for the 2.5S and standard for the 2.5 Turbo. The 2.5 Turbo also has a six-speed manual option.

The 2.0 comes as a sedan only with a stand-alone base trim, while the 2.5S and 2.5 Turbo have sedan and hatchback body styles. Four trim levels are available for the 2.5S: Base, Select, Preferred, and Premium. The 2.5 Turbo can be had with either a base or a fully-loaded Premium Plus package.

I came from a 2010 Toyota and I’m so glad I switched to Mazda. The amenities, the drive, and the comfort is far superior. 10/10!

Love my new Mazda3 Turbo. So much fun to drive with so much pep when you step on the gas. ZOOM, ZOOM, ZOOM. Safety features galore which was of top importance to me and the Mazda3 is rated a top safety pick. Check out any on-line YouTube video of professional test drivers and this great little car and see how impressed they all are with the handling, price, and looks of this top pick for 2021.
