The 2023 Mazda CX-50 is an all-new, more-rugged version of the compact CX-50 SUV. Standard features include an 8.8-inch multimedia system with Apple CarPlay / Android Auto compatibility, Bluetooth connectivity, dual front USB ports, and remote keyless entry with entry with push-button start. Maximum cargo volume is 56.3 with the rear seats fold down.
It is powered by a standard 187-hp, 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine mated to a six-speed automatic transmission. Front-wheel drive comes standard, while all-wheel drive is available. A more powerful 227-hp, turbocharged 2.5-liter four-cylinder is also available. Fuel economy for the CX-50 is an EPA-estimated rating of 24/30 mpg city/highway. It slightly decreases to a 23/29 mpg rating.
