This car was SOOO much fun to drive. It's quick and the Sport mode makes for fun driving even in the city. To small for a family and I Had a kid so I had to trade for a CX-5.

I honestly was surprised with me falling in love with this car. I’m a small girl who’s always wanted a little small sedan, but after test driving my Mazda it just fit me so well. It has amazing features and even better safety features and the build is so stylish. I just LOVE it

2017 Mazda CX-3 Overview

The 2017 Mazda CX-3 is small compact SUV in the lineup. It competes with the Honda HR-V, Fiat 500X, and Chevy Trax. This year, the CX-3 has revised interior and safety features available.

Three trims are available: the Sport, Touring, and Grand Touring.

From the outside, the CX-3 is distinctly Mazda; it shares many of its styling cues with other cars in the Mazda lineup, especially the Mazda3 hatchback. Up front is the familiar shield grille, flanked by sharp, angular headlight clusters that house standard daytime running lights. The sides of the CX-3 feature a curved beltline that dips down past the front fender, and blacked out rear pillars that make the roof appear as if it’s floating. Available features include heat side mirrors and 18-inch alloy wheels. The Touring trim also has an available adaptive front lighting system that changes the direction of the headlights with turns on the road. Power side mirrors with turn signal indicators come standard.

Under the hood, the CX-3 is powered by a standard 143-hp, 2.0-liter SKYACTIV 4-cylinder engine mated to a 6-speed automatic transmission and front- (FWD) or all-wheel drive (AWD), and makes 146 pounds-feet of torque. Fuel economy for the CX-3 is an EPA-estimated 29/34 mpg city/highway (27/32 mpg with AWD).

Inside, the CX-3 has a premium cloth interior with a 60/40 split-folding rear seat. The center stack features a standard Mazda Connect infotainment system that includes a 7-inch touchscreen, voice command, Bluetooth connectivity for phone and audio, and a USB port. It can be upgraded with an integrated navigation system, satellite radio, and a Bose premium audio system. Standard features include remote keyless entry, push-button start, air conditioning, and power windows/locks. Leather upholstery and a power moonroof are also available.

The CX-3 earned a full 5-star overall crash test safety rating from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA). Standard safety features include a backup camera and a tire pressure monitoring system. Available features include a blindspot monitoring system, rear cross-traffic alert, adaptive cruise control, and lane departure warning.
