Education over sales

Had the pleasure of having Bill Edwards as my sales consultant and I could not have been happier. I had no intention of buying a vehicle I strictly wanted to get some info and maybe take a test drive. Bill was phenomenal in his knowledge of every aspect of the Mazda SUV's. He told us all about the exterior, engine, interior, the Whitten guarantee and what makes Mazda more satisfactory than other brands. He offered the ability to test drive but was in no way pushy and you can tell his agenda is to educate the buyer as opposed to the annoying sell sell sell mentality. I really appreciated this and would advise anyone to ask for Bill.
Buyers Beware!

Buyers beware! I bought a car from this dealer in 2012. We were driving from a very long distance (9+ hours) to purchase a particular vehicle they had listed on the web. We spoke extensively with a salesperson named Larry. We explained to him that we were looking for a vehicle in excellent condition. He assured us that the vehicle we were interested in was in such condition. I even asked him to disclose if there were any scratches, dents, dings, anything. He assured me there were none. We planned several days in advance to make the trip to the dealership and included Larry in on our plans. When we got to the dealership the car was still wet from being poorly washed. The condition was not what had been promised; however, after committing to such a long drive and the car ticking most our boxes, we bought it. BIG MISTAKE! On the way home, the touch up paint that the dealership apparently used to hide the flaws on interior trim began to rub off on basically the entire car. Then once we got home and washed the car ourselves we discovered numerous scratches and imperfections that were not apparent when is was dripping wet at the dealership. We took the car to our local mechanic and he pointed out that the car had actually been wrecked on all four sides, even though the carfax was clean. What is even more frustrating is that when we went to take off the Whitten Brothers vanity plate on the front of the car there was a hole the size of a golf ball behind it. The dealership had to know about this because their plate was what was covering it up. We called the dealership to discuss getting our money back, but all that they would offer is a trade. They did not have any other BMW's on their lot, which is what we originally bought from them and what we wanted. We were willing to drive the 9+ hours to get our money back, but not to trade for a Kia! We have had buyers remorse ever since. This dealership is deceitful and untrustworthy. I would never buy a car from them again!
