Very rude and poor customer service

To say Ontario Mazda has poor customer service is an extreme understatement. They’re scammers, treat loyal customers poorly, and after escalating my issues to the General Manager, it’s been over 3 months with no conclusion or resolution. I will not give them any more of my business. Here is a brief overview of my personal experience before you consider doing business with the dealership. I was a returning customer this past February, stopping by the dealer simply to discuss options for when my current lease was up. I ended my lease 2 months early, only because Ontario Mazda promised to take care of my remaining payments on my old lease. Great...so I thought. They never paid Chase, and now Chase was looking to me for the final payments. After leaving multiple voicemails, I finally got in touch with someone at the dealership and they were going to look into it. Then I received a call from Jeff. He treated me like I was a complete idiot and that I was making up stories. He practically called me stupid and a liar. In trying to understand where the disconnect was, I kept trying to explain to him what I was told originally but he wouldn’t listen. I raised my voice over and over simply trying to be heard but he continued to talk over me. His explanations were also hypocritical, in one breath saying one thing about their processes and in another saying the complete opposite. After this, I detailed my complete experience in a letter to the general manager, Todd Elliot. He did apologize for Jeff’s behavior and told me they’d look into the situation with my lease and “get back to me shortly”. It’s been almost 3 months and I still don’t have a resolution good or bad. Not even a “we’re sorry, but we’re not paying you what we owe you”. I reached out to the corporate Mazda customer service - they reached out to the dealership at least 3 times to ask them to contact me and they haven’t. I’ve reached out multiple times asking for an update, and I just get pushed around and never get an answer. I am furious, more about the way I was treated even than the money I shouldn’t have had to pay to Chase. I am so disappointed in the service I’ve received and never want to give business to somewhere who treats loyal customers like that. It’s unacceptable.

After a phone conversation with Chris Jay, my daughter and I drove from Elmira to deal for a new Mazda6. First she tried a 2016 i Touring and loved it ! Then she drove a 2015 Grand Touring, and she was smitten with it !! Being the shrewd negotiator that she is, she kept her emotions under the radar, and did not show her hand.Negotiations began, but it wasn't long before my Irish temper flared and Chris called for reinforcements. Joe Cordeiro enters the fray and thankfully, their cooler heads prevailed, and I was reigned in ! Negotiations continued and my daughter and I closed a deal that was agreeable to all parties thanks to the friendliness and professionalism of Chris and Joe. Upon picking the vehicle up, Chris spent more than ample time explaining all the intricacies of the vehicle to my daughter, lest she left with no knowledge of the proper operation of it. Kudos and thanks to Chris,Joe,Stefanie and Hank, for a wonderful experience!!!
