Terrible narcissistic Management

Went to purchase a 2018 mazda 3 grand touring from john hines mazda. First off let me say the sales person who we were helped by was amazing and by far deserves 5 stars her name was katie gardner. She did everything in her power under her Narcissistic Desk manager she could. Offered about a thousand dollars less on trade in. Would not budge on sales price of car. Reason being is the manufacturer was already taking 2,000$ off price of car through rebates which everyone knows that is money from the maker of said car not money from the dealerships deep pockets. Overall do not shop at this dealer no respect from upper management. Do your self a favor and drive a little farther and go to a better dealer.

I bought my first Mazda in June 2013 from John Hine, it's a Mazda 5. Or was, I guess it's the body of a Mazda 5 but 4 years and 66k miles later with regular service, the engine is destroyed. I'm 1000 miles out of warranty, but still has two years (technically, accept for the whichever comes first clause). I was quoted $10,000 dollars for a new engine and service. I don't know of anywhere that charges $10,000 for a new engine and service, (believe me I asked around) the average labor was between 700-1500, not including the cost of the engine (which they claim is $5000 comps I found used low mileage were about 1500). I submitted my service paperwork, but since my car wasn't serviced at the dealership that automatically counts against me, they submitted my records to the District Manager (who you can't talk to and they are "not at liberty" to disclose his or her information) and said they can "help me out" by knocking off some $ and I would owe $3,848. That's pretty much just the cost of the repairs at regular auto shop. So they pad the bill so it looks like your getting a significant discount, and because I had it serviced at another location it was deemed to be a "lack of service" and I should feel lucky and grateful that they even "worked" with me at all. We asked Eric for a breakdown of the quote and he said he cannot provide that till we either agree or decline service. Buyer Beware!! The cars are poor quality and the service is even worse. I will never buy another Mazda and I most certainly wouldn't recommend John Hine.

I have spent all my life hearing the horror stories about car dealerships and the sales people. So when my wife and I finally go to the point in our lives that we could buy our first new car, we were expecting the worst. We went to 7 dealerships and tried 8 different models of cars. I can tell you that stepping into the Temecula Subaru dealership was completely different than all others. We were greeted by Ronnie Robinson who has been one of the most down to earth people that I have meet at any dealership. He listened to our plans and time frame for when we wanted to purchase a car. There was zero pressure to do any type of upgrade or look at this other model over here kind of thing. Ronnie answered all our questions and gave us the same level of customer service on our 4 return visits to the dealership. In the end he suggested we order one from the factory that way we could get the color and all the options we wanted. We were given the same price as if we had picked one off the lot. We just had to wait a bit, which was fine for us because it fell into our timeline. I can say that the whole experience has been one of the easiest and least stressful purchases I have ever made. Ronnie stuck to every offer he made to us over those 4 trips to the dealership. When it came time of do the financing something was left out. Ronnie stepped up and the contract was rewritten then and there to honor what was offered on one of our 4 visits. I can not stress enough. Make Temecula Subaru the first, middle and last visit when car shopping. You will not be disappointed by the sales and the great deal you will get on any of the models you are looking for.
