Trucks are not dependable. Too many repairs

Had several maintenance repairs before 60k miles. Your payments will last longer than your automobile. O2 sensor at 32k deferential at 42k now overheating. Done with my ford f150 at 60k miles. Not dependable and not ford tough

Took my F150 to have my moon roof looked at because it wouldnt close. Was told it was probably the arms and they would look at it ( quoted $490.00). Several days later I called to see the status of the repair and was told it was the motor (quoted $2500). Told them not to fix the motor to try the arms first, he said ok. 6 DAYS LATER, AFTER I CALLED TO SEE WHAT WAS TAKING SO LONG. I was told that they were getting ready to start working on it. An hour later he called and said it was the track , not the arms, not the motor and it was going to cost $3500 (cost went from $500 to $3500) I said no dont fix THAT I will come and get it and take it elsewhere. They removed the arms from my truck BUT didnt put everything back the way it was around my window. Yes it was partially closed, but all the rubber on the inside was NOT put back where it belonged. Its as if, since you dont want us to fix it, then we wont put it back together the way it was. THEN TO TOP IT OFF. I had to pay $156.00 for absolutely nothing. ONE HOUR of service, YES ONE HOUR, AFTER HAVING IT FOR SIX DAYS, for nothing but sorry replacement of the rubber around my window (and a rental car payment). I didnt notice the rubber until AFTER I had taken it home. I have always purchased Fords, 2 vehicles from this dealership. I WILL NEVER BUY ANOTHER ONE FROM THIS DEALERSHIP. Not only did I have sorry service, but the corporation (Ford.com) NEVER returned my call (2-3 business days) to verify whether this would be reviewed for a recall since this is a common problem per the serviceman at Mt. View and tons of reviews on the internet pertaining to the same issue. I would never recommend this dealership to anyone anymore. 6 days to tell me something that took 1 hour is the most ridiculous thing I have heard of. Paying for getting absolutely nothing fixed on my truck and half xxx putting everything back together, I would consider your own mechanic before you take it to this dealership. Maybe since I was female they think they can get what they want, sorry not from me. IF THEY HAD NO STARS, THAT IS WHAT I WOULD HAVE GIVEN

Fantastic salesman and business manager!

The salesperson and business manager were wonderful. I was able to get what I needed out of both cars traded in with no hassle from anyone. Could not have been more helpful with working with me. One vehicle I was trading in I had been told by other dealers that I had to wait for a clear title before I could trade but not at Mtn. View, they said they would handle for me. I have dealt with many dealers in the past and never had such a wonderful experience. They are the best ever and I will be more than proud to recommend them to everyone I know.
