Zeigler Lincoln of Kalamazoo

Only July 14, 2025 with purchased a 2018 expedition from Ziegler in Kalamazoo. Within 24 hours of purchasing the vehicle we noticed a screaming noise when the car would start up. It needed a new serpentine belt, we took it back to have it replaced which they refused to replace. They solely sprayed a solution on it to lubricant the belt so it would stop making the noise. Not even two months later we were noticing the vehicle shifting very hard. We took it in to another dealership and they let us know it needed a new transmission. When purchasing this vehicle at Ziegler we had been told time and time again that the vehicle was inspected and with good faith they stated it was a great and a very safe car. We have two small children and knowing they had sold us something so unreliable and unsafe is extremely unsettling. We have called multiple times and sent emails with zero return. I’m incredibly disappointed and would not recommend for anyone to purchase a vehicle there. They do not care about their customers solely about the volume of vehicles sold.

Disappointing Experience with Ziegler of Kalamazoo I recently purchased a 2023 Lincoln Aviator from Ziegler of Kalamazoo in December 2023, and unfortunately, it has been nothing short of a nightmare. From day one, the vehicle exhibited numerous issues that have significantly impacted my experience. Firstly, upon bringing the vehicle home, I noticed malfunctioning wheel wells, which emitted a plastic burning smell, permeating my garage and home. Subsequently, I encountered problems with harsh shifting, a brake pedal that felt constantly engaged, and an all-wheel-drive system that failed in snowy conditions, leading to dangerous fishtailing incidents. Despite multiple attempts to address these issues with Ziegler, I was consistently brushed off and made to feel as though my concerns were unwarranted. The dealership's dismissive attitude towards my legitimate complaints was both frustrating and disheartening. On one occasion, I was even told there was nothing wrong with the vehicle, only to discover by another dealer only days after that a critical component—the front right axle—was improperly seated, rendering the all-wheel-drive system ineffective. The dealer stated this was likely from the factory and the cause of my awd system not working. Please see attached work order from zeigler stating there was nothing wrong with the awd system and then the one only a few days later at the dealership that took me seriously and fixed a major problem! Moreover, the service and sales team's response to my concerns was utterly unprofessional. Instead of acknowledging their oversight and taking appropriate action, they chose to deflect blame onto other dealerships and questioned the integrity of their assessments. Given the exorbitant price tag of the vehicle ($84,000) and Ziegler's purported commitment to customer satisfaction, I expected a level of service that has regrettably not been forthcoming. Instead, I've been met with excuse after excuse, leaving me disillusioned and deeply dissatisfied with my purchase. In conclusion, my experience with Ziegler of Kalamazoo has been nothing short of a disappointment. I would caution anyone considering purchasing a vehicle from this dealership to proceed with extreme caution and thoroughly inspect any prospective purchases before committing.

I am a first-time buyer who purchased a Subaru from Zeigler in April of 2023. Their team worked with me and my mechanic and did a great job guiding me through the process and working with my budget. I would definitely trust them again when purchasing a vehicle in the future!
