Only because I cannot leave zero stars.

Reviewed by quincalleOctober 08, 2025

Only because I cannot leave zero stars. My in-laws lease a 3rd Lincoln from this dealer, and previously named Fox Ford. Since it was under Morgado control, they have had several issues with little help to resolve the issues. My in laws are 93,retired AF veteran, and 92. They explained that they were going to move to CA in the fall and would register the car in CA at that point. Somehow this was interpreted or misunderstood to have the car registered in CA, without the car physically being in CA? It is now 3 months later, they are still in IL and are being told they cannot register the car in IL as it is already registered in CA(without having the car in CA), finance manager said they would need to take the car to CA and then back to IL to register in IL? Does this sound like they are being taken advantage of, or worse, they just don't care!

What should have been a straightforward lease devolved

Reviewed by aleniedomSeptember 04, 2025

What should have been a straightforward lease devolved into weeks of shifting paperwork and managerial evasion. After I signed, I received multiple “updated” contracts that changed material terms payment, mileage, and tax/fee language. When I asked them to honor what we discussed up front, I was repeatedly dismissed, instead of seeing anyone take ownership and correct the problem. In my view, that response speaks to culture and oversight, not customer service. Beware. Communication required constant chasing. Emails often sat until I followed up. My written cancellation under the dealership’s own Conditional (Spot) Delivery Agreement was ignored. Routine registration stretched to roughly three months before plates were issued. That is not normal for a competent operation. To be precise, the dealership did not honor the initial verbal agreement discussed with the salesman, and subsequent documents repeatedly introduced new terms. Ultimately, they only did what they should have done after I identified and invoked a clause in their own contract that pressured them. In my opinion, absent that contractual leverage, they would not have resolved it appropriately. Regarding professional conduct, my interactions with General Manager and Finance Manager were, in my opinion, aggressive and dismissive, the opposite of what you want as a customer. Unless you’d want to get a migraine, look elsewhere. If you’re a busy professional and want a hassle free experience, I would go elsewhere. One individual I interacted with handled his narrow piece of the process (license plate processing) professionally. Frankly, he felt like someone trying to do the right thing within a system that does not support him, and in my opinion he doesn’t deserve the business environment he’s working in. That single exception does not change my overall assessment. And the way I think about purchasing a car has changed dramatically.

2 hours plus for a oil change and tire rotation with an appointment is way to long in my opinion. What would be the reason to keep coming back?
