I’ve been going to Lexus of Wayzata for years, but the service department has become a hot mess. Wait times have gotten out of control — even for something as basic as an oil change. If you’re told it’ll be an hour, expect more like an hour and 45 minutes. What’s even more frustrating is that the service advisors aren’t upfront about these delays. On top of that, every visit feels like an upsell. At my most recent appointment, I was told my brakes were “in the red” and needed immediate replacement. That didn’t sit right with me, so I went to a highly rated independent garage for a second opinion. They showed me my brakes were completely fine and nowhere near needing repair. Now that my warranty has expired, I’m unlikely to return. It’s disappointing to see the decline in transparency and service quality from a dealership I used to trust.

It helps to have a working familiarity with the Lexus line before you begin your search. This dealership has an impressive inventory of new and used cars, and the sales personnel know how to present them.

Inspection was thorough, love the video. Went in for tire rotation and ended up needing rear brakes as well. Work was completed same day. Have been going to this location for years.
