Disgusted with Lexus of Palm Beach.
Disgusted with Lexus of Palm Beach. The dealership initially located the vehicle I was looking for. The search was easy and I was told all the right answers until the ink dried on the check. The issues (two main ones are bald tires and a few large stains on the drivers seat) that I was told would be resolved while I was signing the paperwork all stopped as soon as the paperwork was completed. The salesman handed my wife the keys and acted as if he was going to walk away. So I asked, ?what about the stain and the tires?? He immediately responded with he asked management and there?s nothing we can do. False promises and bad customer service is not something that was expected at a Lexus dealership but I guess that is business as usual at Lexus of Palm Beach. A few days later I went back to the dealership to speak with a manager as I was unable to obtain the inspection report even though I asked for it daily for a week. I assumed I was not provided with the inspection because the tires failed inspection. The manager did provide me with the inspection report which showed the two tires just, and I mean just passed the inspection according to their standards but tire kingdom?s system they failed. Who would have thought tire kingdom worries more about their customers safety than Lexus. The manager did offer to try to get the stains out of the drivers seat. I am scheduling an appointment soon so let?s see how this goes. Unfortunately the inspection report I was given does not even match the specific vehicle I purchased. It?s hard to take a managers word who decided not to replace bald tires on a vehicle they sold based off of an inspection that has many errors. I was upset when speaking with the manager who was quick to say he wouldn?t talk to me if I didn?t lower my voice. I was not yelling but I was upset and my voice was raised but instead of trying to make things right he looked for a quick escape. This process is ongoing and I will send another review each step of the way. At this time I would never recommend this dealership to anyone ever! Much more to come so standby because this is just the beginning. Follow up after today?s visit to the dealership. I was asked by the sales manager to bring the vehicle in so he can see the stains on the seat and tires. He took the vehicle to the service department to try to get the stain out and was unsuccessful. He did offer to have his upholstery person fix the problem which I was very satisfied with. I then asked about the two bald tires that are on the vehicle. He arrogantly said, ? I thought we were past the tires!? When I reminded him that he had offered to sell me tires at a discounted rate he hesitated like he was going to take back his offer. I quickly showed him the inspection report that has many errors on it. The report states the vehicle has a sunroof which it does not. It also says there?s a spare tire, which there is not. It says there?s seats were in satisfactory condition, which they are not. And so on and so on. Once I showed him the inspection report he provided to me, highlighting the errors and explaining that this is misrepresentation. He quickly said he would split the cost to new tires but made it clear he would NOT replace them. Even simple tasks could not be completed at Lexus of Palm Beach. The first conversation I had I said this purchase was a gift for my wife and the vehicle needs to be in her name. Of course they completed the paperwork in my name. Extreme laziness that today even the manager said they should have redone the paperwork. I again left today without these items corrected but hopefully they will stand by the managers word and call me Monday to fix the drivers seat. I will update more after my next visit to this poorly run dealership.
