The service itself was very quick.
The service itself was very quick. There was one part that did not make sense to me. After your service is completed, you walk across to another section where you wait in another line to get your car. Although I only waited about 12 minutes in that portion, I tried to suggest to the manager that maybe they just tell someone the total time it will take for their car to be ready because many people at a Lexus dealership will be doing work during the week and then that's 12 minutes someone is just sitting there waiting. No one was even present in the small room to give any updates and I could just see that my car had not been started at any point since I had given the information to retrieve the car. I'm not sure why this portion is separated out. I have not seen this at other dealerships but previously had Hondas, this is my first Lexus dealership, but I would be very surprised if this is how they typically handle the process at Other Lexus dealerships. When I went up to the manager to tell him my suggestion that they just tell someone the total time it will take so that if it is 12 15 or 20 minutes extra we can keep doing work and then not be frustrated sitting there and waiting. He was definitely not open to any suggestions. Hedid not apologize for the wait. Instead he just kept saying that it depends on how many people are there and they would need more staff and so I told him not to worry that I would definitely be complaining so he could use this to use to support why he needs additional staff. It was a combination of the attitude of the staff plus the process that was the unpleasant experience. Inside was fine. Aiden the actual technician was wonderful.
