The Land Rover Discovery Sport is a luxury compact SUV that’s powered by a 246-horsepower, turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine paired with a nine-speed automatic transmission. A tenacious four-wheel-drive system with Land Rover’s Terrain Response feature comes standard, giving the Discovery Sport outstanding off-road capability. Should I Buy the 2024 Land Rover Discovery Sport?
Though it’s increasingly showing its age since its introduction for the 2015 model year, the Land Rover Discovery Sport is attractively styled inside and out. Its standard 4WD system makes it far more capable off the beaten path than many competitors. Its lackluster handling and subpar fuel economy, however, are disappointing. And while extra seating from the optional third row sounds good, keep in mind that it’s best suited for kids.
