Don't Overpay for Your New Land Rover Discovery Sport

2024 Land Rover Discovery Sport Overview

What Is the 2024 Land Rover Discovery Sport?
The Land Rover Discovery Sport is a luxury compact SUV that’s powered by a 246-horsepower, turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine paired with a nine-speed automatic transmission. A tenacious four-wheel-drive system with Land Rover’s Terrain Response feature comes standard, giving the Discovery Sport outstanding off-road capability. The Discovery Sport’s rivals include the Acura RDX, BMW X3, Genesis GV70 and Mercedes-Benz GLC.

What’s New on the 2024 Land Rover Discovery Sport?
All 2024 Discovery Sports have a revamped dashboard with a new steering wheel, new shifter and a new infotainment system with an 11.4-inch curved-glass touchscreen, which absorbs several previously physical controls. The model lineup is pared down from four to two trims, both with a higher level of standard equipment (and notably higher starting prices).

Should I Buy the 2024 Land Rover Discovery Sport?
Though it’s increasingly showing its age since its introduction for the 2015 model year, the Land Rover Discovery Sport is attractively styled inside and out. Its standard 4WD system makes it far more capable off the beaten path than many competitors. Its lackluster handling and subpar fuel economy, however, are disappointing. And while extra seating from the optional third row sounds good, keep in mind that it’s best suited for kids.
