2017 Land Rover Discovery Sport Overview (See Available Styles)

The Land Rover Discovery Sport debuted for 2015 as a replacement for the LR2 in the automaker's lineup and slots below the larger LR4. It is compact in dimensions and has standard seating for five. An optional two-seat third row transforms it into a seven-seat SUV. All-wheel drive is standard, along with a 240-horsepower, turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine and a nine-speed automatic transmission. Competitors include the Acura RDX, BMW X3 and Audi Q5.

New for 2017
The newly available InControl Touch Pro multimedia system features a 10.2-inch dashboard touch-screen that supports smartphone-style interaction by responding to swiping and pinching motions. New available safety features include a driver-drowsiness monitor, a speed limit monitor and lane departure prevention.

HSE and HSE Lux trim levels are now available with a Dynamic Design Package. The package features unique front bumper styling, a different rear bumper with integrated exhaust tips, black accents and gloss-black 20-inch wheels. Interior features include contrast stitching on the seats and gear selector, special carpeted floormats and metal pedals.
