I purchased a 2023 Certified Range Rover with 7400 miles
I purchased a 2023 Certified Range Rover with 7400 miles in October 2024. When I drove the car it seemed fine. Slowly it started to shake when I would press on the brake. It was getting pretty bad so I scheduled an oil change at a dealership new me. I asked them if they would also do a brake check for me. I also had it checked at the nearest Firestone. Both of the facilities told me the rotors were warped. As they were shocked cause it only has 14,000 miles. I don't ride my brakes or have I have to slam on my brakes in the 10 months I have owned this vehicle. They said it could have possibly been the person that drove it before me, but they just weren't sure of how this happened, to call the dealership where I purchased it. So I did. I told the lady answering the phone exactly what what going on and what the 2 facilities told me. She said oh, at 14,000 miles it's time for new brakes and rotors!! I have been a mechanic most of my life, changing hunders of brakes and rotors, I also haven't seen this on a vehicle with such low miles. She continued to argue with me and would NOT allow me to talk to anyone in the service department. She said drive it here and we will look at it. I said no, it's 1.3 hours away and that's not safe. She literally told me to pay for a tow and tow it there. For starters they should be paying for the tow since the two reputable company's told me what was wrong. She continued to argue with me. Im just saying , DO NOT purchase from here. You are treated like you did something wrong, instead of them taking accountability for selling me a vehicle with warped rotors. They told me they did a full inspection and it was in perfect condition. Stand by your word Northfield dealership and fix my rotors and breaks for me, cause you lied right to my face!! Be careful, they will tell you whatever sounds good to you so you buy their junk!! STAY AWAY!!
