The 2023 Kia Forte is a compact sedan that competes with the Honda Civic, the Toyota Corolla, and the Nissan Sentra.
Four trims are available: LX, LXS, GT-Line, and GT.
Powering the Forte is a standard 147-hp, 2.0-line four-cylinder engine mated to a continuously variable automatic transmission joined with either a six-speed manual or a seven-speed automatic is also available. A more powerful 201-hp, turbocharged 1.6-liter four-cylinder. Fuel economy for the 2.0L Forte is an EPA-estimated rating of 30/41 mpg city/highway. For the higher end GT trim, It lowers to a 27/35 mpg rating for the Automatic and 22/31 mpg with the Manual.
