Called around and got a fair offer from Sunset.
Called around and got a fair offer from Sunset. Met the finance guy and then the up-sale started. Half of the paperwork was already printed and tge other half was on a tablet that was built into the desk. Bottom line I got home and had over $4000 added to the transaction. It took me 3 weeks to rectify it. I received a 10 minute introduction to the car(ev9gt) a very technical car. Absolutely no follow up! If you do visit the dealership, ask for Ben. When I went to pick up the plates, he put them on in the pouring rain. Then he spent at least 45 minutes explaining the functions of the car. He had nothing to gain by helping me, just a good guy that knew his stuff. If you do visit this dealership ask for Ben, he will do you right.

Eric the sales person was excellent - the manager, “The Closer” used the classic move the cost around. Didn’t function with the integrity I expect of my teenagers. My failure for not catching the $738 for extra warranty items we did not want to pay for and he gave the illusion we wouldn’t pay for. Because Eric the sales person was authentic and helpful we chose to go with Sunset. In hindsight we should have pivoted to Car Pro Kia Tacoma with their written estimate. Advice don’t deal with any hand written numbers on paper - make the manager line item and clarify every cost in the back and forth.
