I needed to replace my car due to accident that totaled my car. I had picked the car but was having problems with GAP insurance. The car salesperson and Finance Director went out of their way to contact the insurance and work with them so I could purchase a new car. I had purchased my prev car with them so it didn?t much decision to go back to them. I am glad that decision was the right one!!!

I went in for a routine oil change, with an appointment. I also arrived 20 minutes early because that is the right thing to do. After an hour of not seeing my car get serviced, I walked back to see how things were going. I didn?t see my car anywhere and the cars that were in front of mine were already gone. The manager asked if I had been helped and I told him what was going on. He then told me that there were 10 cars that had the same appointment as mine and I would just have to wait. I asked him what the point was of making an appointment then? No one else schedules 10 people for the same appointment time unless they have 10 employees to take care of them. He said just to get on the schedule and I would just have to wait. He said he did send a few cars to the back to get the oil changed since they had so many. He said he would check but then, in a condescending way, he said that an oil change could take up to 1 1/2 hours and because I had only been there 30 minutes, they were in their time frame. I then told him at that point I had been there over an hour. He said they were still within their time frame. What I was hearing from him, was that their time is more valuable than mine. They also said that I needed an alignment?.my car has 16,600 miles on it and it is driving fine. I am a very careful, cautious driver. I got a second opinion about that and all is good. I don?t need an alignment. I had a coupon for an oil change. The coupon was from Kia for a 29.95 oil change. I knew I would have to pay for an extra quart of oil but when checking out, the woman told me it would be 76.00 dollars. I reminded her that I had the coupon. All she did was take 29.95 off the bill. I was charged for labor, the filter and oil. All that was supposed to be included in the price of the coupon. It said it includes all of that plus the 31 point inspection. I just paid it but any other time I have had a coupon, that is not how it worked. It was a windy day and dirt was blowing, when I got out to my car, the window was down. I understand they need to roll it down while servicing the car but it could have been rolled up while sitting outside instead of letting the inside of my car get dirty. Lastly, I asked each time if the filters were changed. My car is 5 years old and have never been changed each time I am told, nope they were good. I was concerned this time so my husband pulled out the one for the engine and it was dirty. I figured out how the cabin filter comes out and pulled it out. It was black and full of dirt, leaves and small pieces of other debris. Now, I feel that I cannot trust them anymore. They tried to say I need an 80.00 alignment that I don?t need but they have not been checking the filters. It makes me wonder if they are doing the rest of the inspections that they claim to do each time. I don?t usually leave reviews and it takes ALOT to make me mad. After this ordeal I was so mad that I had to stop talking. I was afraid I would say something I would regret. I have lost faith in the local dealership which makes me sad, and have decided that unless it is a warranty issue, I will not take my car back there. I will be getting my oil changed elsewhere as well as tire rotated I still have 4 1/2 years on the warranty as of now. When I first bought the car and for their first couple of years, I was pleased with everything. When I need another car as some point, sadly, I don?t know if it will be a Kia even though I really love my Sorento.
