I, Kathy attempted to buy a 2023 Certified Pre-Owned Kia
I, Kathy attempted to buy a 2023 Certified Pre-Owned Kia Sportage from Kia of Lansing with a solid $16,500 cash offer. After the initial rejection by the Sales Manager I reached out to the General Manager, and the General Manger stated on a voicemail that my offer was “not unreasonable.” However; no one from Kia of Lansing followed up with me even after I filed complaints through Kia Corporate, Kia North America, the Better Business Bureau, and a I complaint file with the State of Michigan, Attorney General office regarding the deceptive practice and bad faith. Consequently, the vehicle was sold or just taken off there website with zero communication from the General Manger, when he stated that my cash offer wasn’t unreasonable. Buyers should be cautious of KIA of Lansing due to KIA not value transparency to the customer.

I never got there. While visiting a friend in Grand Rapids I found the model I wanted at Fox KIA North and bought it. KIA of Lansing would have been my next stop had I not made the purchase in GR.

I bought a car under warranty, the engine died. They replaced with fees under warranty. It happened again now they are not honoring the warranty. Lemon dealer with a sleazy service center. Never buy a Kia.
