Tried to sell me a car that was ," certified " with a 140
Tried to sell me a car that was ," certified " with a 140 point inspection and had an oil leak and the check engine light was on.The used car sales manager got defensive when I pointed it out. He said he didn't approve repairs ,that the service manager was the one that approved them. No,when a used car comes in, a repair order is made ,what is known as a UCI in the automotive business. A quote is then created and an estimate for repairs is generated, then the service advisors presents this quote to the USED CAR MANAGER for approval of repairs,IF the repairs exceeds how much money they're willing to spend it then goes to AUCTION. Either the tech is Lousy and missed the oil leak and check engine light on Or the used car manager knew of the issues before he put the car on the lot. Sales person couldn't tell me what the extra fees they charge were for. I decided to go somewhere else and not waste my time.
