Really wonderful so far…will update if I purchase

I want to preface this by saying I have not purchased a vehicle-yet. I have a deposit on a Kia Carnival set to arrive July 13. When you are searching for a vehicle in high demand, it’s amazing how poorly you can be treated. Dealers don’t care if you’re contacted back. They don’t care to go out of their way. Lawrence Kia has kept in touch and contacted me to let me know when the vehicle I wanted will arrive even calling me to say I’d be first on the list if I made a deposit. I’ve also had three dealerships I’ve contacted about the vehicle they have in stock who charge more than MSRP for the vehicle just because they can. Lawrence Kia promised not to do that to me. If they follow through and work with me on my trade, I I will be more than happy and will update my review to let others know about the buying process.

Beyond awful customer service!

If I could post and give zero stars I would. I have never been so disrespected in my life. My husband and I have bought many cars in our days. We know the in’s and out’s, do’s and don’t’s. We try to keep things simple, to the point, don’t beat around the bush. We test drove a Stinger and a K5 today. I fell in love with the K5 and fully intended on leaving with that car today. We went online prior to our visit and did the pre-approval for financing only to find out that this dealership is so behind the times, they don’t sync up with Kia’s platform for pre-approval financing. So now we have to have our credit ran again, two dings on our score. We fill out the paperwork and the “finance manager” comes over asking us how much we wanted our car payment to be. I have NEVER had someone ask me this, and we have legit probably purchased roughly 20 cars over the years. Why is that your business? If I hypothetically say, $700, you’re going to screw me by not giving me the best deal and robbing me blind because you know I’m willing to go up to “x” amount. We hadn’t even discussed trade in for my car or the cost of the K5. This “manager” was snarky as all get out and down right unprofessional. I don’t bite my tongue when I’m feeling mistreated. I informed him that he was being quite rude and he had the audacity to say that we were making the process difficult. Excuse me?! We are the customer. If we are questioning your actions, you give us respect by answering our questions in a professional manner. That is your job. He then goes on further to state that the lady that had been with us on the test drives said we were difficult as well. Why? Because we test drove two of your cars and she was about to get hella commission on a sale. When I addressed that with her, she said that she never said that. All of them are crooked as the day is long. “Managers” don’t treat customers that way, point blank period. This man needs a reality check and a change in profession. He needs not be dealing with the public. I will NEVER in my life try to do business with this company again. I’m truly flabbergasted at what went down today. There’s a difference between being “difficult” as he referred to us as and not letting people take advantage of you. I guess if you question why certain information, that is really non of your business, is needed, you’re “difficult.” We asked that the paperwork that had our SSN’s be shredded because security is important to us and he couldn’t even find the shredder. He practically threw the papers in my husbands face. I can’t even make this stuff up. It was surreal in a very bad way. Don’t worry though, word of mouth is the best form of referral and you now have two people plus everyone we tell. I will be taking my business to KC this week and will be getting a K5. I tried to “keep it local” but apparently Kia of Manhattan doesn’t give a xxxx about their customers. That “finance manager” really needs to be let go.

Terrible Service

The salesman couldn’t answer my questions about the Kia Telluride. He asked if he could Google the information. He went in to make a copy of my drivers license so I could test drive. He came back out and told me the cars I was looking at were in the process of being sold and there weren’t any cars for me to look at. I left. Three hours later I got a call saying to come back because both vehicles were still there. I will not be back.
