Stay Away If You Care About Your Sanity or Wallet

TL;DR: This is your typical, scummy car dealer. They will use dirty tactics to get you to buy a car that's more expensive than what you want. I initially came to World Kia under the impression I was going to test drive a used 2019 Kia Optima. Silly me. Next thing I know, Aaron is collecting my information under the pretense that I must be pre-approved for a car loan in order to proceed. I did not realize that he was going to do a pull on my credit (thanks to him, I now know what that is [I'm new to the market]). After going through all that, I'm then told I shouldn't bother with the Optima. After all, it has 50,000 miles on it. This information had never been available to me until that point. Then, I was persuaded to test drive a new Kia K5. Nice ride, but well above the price point I had been looking at before. Aaron and his sales manager did everything they could to pressure me to buy this vehicle which I had had no intention of buying. I even got hit with this cheesy and absurd line: "No offense, Sean, but you're a unique individual, and this car is unique as well." Who falls for this? Anyway, I wasn't even asked if I wanted to buy. Aaron simply pushed a contract in front of me and told me to sign on the dotted line and they would wash the car and fill it with gas. He had put down the monthly payment I wanted, but with a considerably longer payment term... At every point in the process, I said I had no intention of buying, but they didn't care. They then asked if I wanted to test drive a Forte, since that was more in line with what I was looking for. I did. Again, I was presented with a contract and pressured to sign. Keep in mind, this whole time, they were holding my driver's license hostage in order to prevent me from walking out on them. I suffered through multiple rounds of negotiations with Aaron and his sales manager. They would not take no for an answer. They were quite obviously trying to break me down to the point of exhaustion so I would simply give in. Funny, too, that they used my stated "ideal" monthly payment to justify overcharging me for the Forte. Every time I told them "no," the price magically dropped down. At the end, I wouldn't even take another free bottle of water in fear that it would somehow hurt my credit score. Be prepared for battle if you're foolish enough to walk into this dealership.

We went in for an appointment with one person come to find out that person isn’t real. Had a different guy “help” us as well as helping another person at the same time. Told them our price limit and they didn’t care. Doubled our payment amount. For the next 3 weeks we would get a message we were good. Than days later no they need something else. Finally they said everything was good. Except our previous car loan sends us notice we are 2months behind. Kia never paid them the payoff. I spoke with Gm and they haven’t even called for payoff. Now I mention this to Kia and they assured me check was coming this week. Now they call wanting more money. Stay away from here.

I couldn't have asked for a better experience with the service department. They were awesome! They finished the work quickly, explained everything, and were so friendly. When I decided to buy a new vehicle I returned to World Kia and again had a wonderful experience!
