Delivered a Defective Car — Then Weeks of unreasonable demands and Runaround Before My Attorney Had to Step In If I could give zero stars, I absolutely would. I purchased a brand-new 2025 Kia Niro SX Touring from Ed Voyles Kia on August 23, 2025, and the car was delivered to me damaged — a broken plastic tow-hitch cover on the front bumper. They promised immediately to “make it right.” Weeks went by, excuse after excuse, endless calls and emails, and nothing but stalling, demands, and complete lack of accountability. I live 5 hours from the dealership. That's how far I had to go to find a dealership with the exact car I wanted. They demanded me to drive 10 hours round trip so they could put the part on my bumper as a “warranty claim.” I told them it's not a warranty issue, it's a defective purchase issue - mail me the plastic part and I will snap it into place myself. They refused repeatedly. After being patient far longer than any customer should have to be, I finally had to hire an attorney just to get them to mail me a simple $50 plastic part that should have been on the car from day one. Once it arrived, it took me 30 seconds to snap it in myself — proof this entire fiasco was pure laziness and disregard for their customer. This dealership’s behavior was shameful, unprofessional, and unethical. Delivering a new vehicle in damaged condition is bad enough; refusing to fix it until legal action is taken and escalation threatened by my attorney lands this dealership in unforgivable territory. Then they've sent me at least 5 emails and texts wanting to know if I was satisfied with their dealership. Heck NO. My attorney had to force their compliance. If you value honesty, customer service, or your sanity, avoid Ed Voyles Kia at all costs. They’ll smile to make the sale and disappear the moment you need help.

When I leased a vehicle in June 2024, I was told the vehicle had been transferred to them and they did not have the second key but that they would contact me within two weeks when it arrived. They did not contact me. Over a month later I followed up with them and they said they were ordering a new one. Again, I had to follow up with them. By the time they got it, I had become ill and was unable to make that long of a drive. I said I would pay them to mail it to me, but they said I had to be there to program it with the car. I was never told that previously. Now that I’m healing and able to drive, their sales assistant, Kaley is telling me she has no record of owing me a key. Thankfully, I have all of the records talking with them about it, including direct emails and texts with her. This is after she’s been rude and unhelpful in general. For the record, they didn’t even tell me they didn’t have the second key until after I signed the paperwork selling them my current car. They also try to bribe you into a 100% rating by saying you’ll get something like all weather floor mats if you give them a 100. Unsurprisingly, they only seem to respond when you have a positive experience.

Bought a new car in August from Ed Voyles Kia in Smyrna. Overall negative experience. Was told by salesman that new 2025 Kia's had "bumper to bumper" 5 year - 60K warranty. Unfortunately, found this untrue fact out at closing! This warranty turns out to be "limited". Kia extended warranties do not include things like the A/C! Also, was told my new Kia supported wireless Android Auto / Apple Car Play. After attempting to get to work, Kia customer service told me yesterday that some models don't have this feature including my new car! I complained to the Sales Manager multiple times and got no response. Avoid this dealership!
