1. Viewed a used car at the dealership before pics posted
2. Started credit app same day
3. Purchased car in 2 days, but had knowingly not been serviced because it had just arrived.
4. While transferring belongings to the new vehicle, it was discovered that the trunk struts weren’t holding the door open. Agent and his supervisor came out to help and told me they’d take care of the struts when the car came back in for servicing and I was greatly appreciative. The insult came when the agent decided to “connect” with me by flaunting his love for “Hip Hop”... I understand establishing a relationship with the customer, but the car already sold itself... that was offensively extra!.. nothing to prove considering the times we’re in.
5. Told to wait for a call for service appointment. As per The agent, car would be detailed, wipers replaced, tires if needed, tighten engine mount and trunk struts
6. After a week, no one called to tell me where we were in the process. So, I called and was told to wait for a call back for the appt day and time
7. Received a letter from auto team saying that I needed to get the car inspected
8. After I got the car inspected, I called auto team back and was told that I didn’t need to do that because it would’ve been done after servicing. Inspection identified top brake light is out
9. Finally got a call on June 30th to bring the car in on July 1st
10. When dropping the car off and receiving a loaner, they told me that the car would be ready when I got off of work the following day July 2nd.
11. When I came back the next day, they forgot to call me to tell me that the radiator was damaged during servicing and wouldn’t be ready until July 6th at the earliest. They ran down a list of things that were to be done and didn’t mention the trunk struts. They said they weren’t approved on the invoice. I told them I was told they would be and they said they’ll find out what happened.
12. I finally got a call back on Tuesday July 7th at 4pm to tell me the car was ready.
13. After getting in the car, the radio wasn’t working because the battery was disconnected from the car at some point. Toni helped me search for the code and got it working again.
14. After getting home, my wife saw that car hadn’t been vacuumed and streaks of dirt could be found around the window frames and I have pics to prove it.
In absolute fairness, I was given an amazing opportunity to purchase the vehicle and I’m certain they worked hard to get me approved for the loan.
But I truly don’t feel this would’ve been the experience for someone purchasing a $30,000 car.
My car was only $8,000, but you don’t get to treat people this way.
Maybe this was happenstance, but it felt continually hurtful.
I love the car, but it’s the last I’ll buy from there. And this was the 2nd car I’d purchased in 5 years.

I always receive excellent service. I have a 23 and 33 year old Saabs. Service actually had the mechanic pull a recirculation valve off of an abandoned Saab 9000 and put it on mine... $avings. They do what they can to satisfy.
