I’m extremely frustrated with how the service department handled my recent visit. I was told my dead battery wasn’t under warranty and paid out of pocket, only to later discover it absolutely was covered since my car is under three years old with fewer than 36,000 miles. After they replaced a fuse, my check engine light came on as soon as I pulled off the lot, and when I returned, they finally agreed to process the battery under warranty. Instead of simply correcting their mistake, they kept my car for another full day so they could reinstall the old battery, force it to fail, and then submit the claim. The entire experience was inconvenient, unnecessary, and completely unacceptable.
