Horrible.
Horrible. ZERO STARS!! Run! While on vacation our A/C went out. We took it for service at Dothan Kia and spoke to the manager there. He said he was going to run diagnostics and see if he could find the problem and then told us that there was a hose that need to be changed but they could not get it that day and we could come back in the morning for them to do it that first time we paid $546. We returned in the morning they installed the new hose charged another 300 and some odd dollars and we were on our way. Nothing worked, same problem with AC. By the time we realized 45 minutes later that it still wasn't working we were on our way home to Florida. We took it to our local service and they repaired it. We called service manager at Dothan Kia to see what they could do for us since we had paid $840 some odd dollars and the problem was not repaired. We understand that there was some costs associated we told him but we would like a refund of something as they did not fix the problem. They did not give us a dime back. Would not even discuss it. I've never been treated like this at Kia I always go to my local dealer in Florida and there's no issues. Thinking of going there???? Think twice especially if you aren't local.

Are you looking for a dealership that will service your
Are you looking for a dealership that will service your car AND steal your property? Well look no further. Dothan Kia is the perfect place for you. I dropped my car off on the 6th to have my catalytic converter replaced. I was told prior that they did not have the part. I was called a week later, February 13th, and told that my car was ready. When I arrived on the 14th, Adam, who I had been working with the whole time, had me sign and pay. I did not get to see my car before signing and paying. After Adam pulled my car around for me, I noticed that my dashcam was missing. I pointed this out to him and he went and got a manager. They first tried to say that it "probably fell off from the heat". First red flag. I live in Florida and have had this dashcam for awhile. If heat was a problem, it definitely would've fallen off a long time ago. Second red flag: Nick Shelley, the service manager, was very quick to tell me that they "have signs stating that we are not responsible for your property" and that his employees "wouldn't steal" my dashcam. They offered no apology, no remorse and no resolve. I called him the day after (the 15th) to see if anything was being done and he claims that he checked the camera and didn't see anything. He also stated again that their signs say that they arent responsible for my property. Nick must think I'm ignorant and incompetent. I know he didn't sit there and watch 192 hours of footage. I also know that it doesn't take a degree to know that dashcams don't grow legs and walk out of vehicles. He tried to tell me that the employee who serviced my vehicle has worked there for 10 years and he "trust him with his life." Not once did i ever say that it was the person who serviced my car, but here's the FACTS: When I left my car at Kia of Dothan, I had a dashcam. When I picked it up from Kia of Dothan, I didn't have a dashcam. So someone at this dealership either stole it or left my car unlocked. NEITHER OF THESE SENARIOS ARE OKAY. THEY ARE THIEVES. Had my window been busted out and my property stolen, this would be a different story. Either Nick or one of his employees is the reason that my property is gone. There's only so many other ways that I can state these FACTS. Do yourself a favor, and find a dealership with integrity. These people do not care about you, and you could be their next victim. Don't let your family and loved ones spend their hard earned money at a place like this. If they are willing to steal something that was sitting in plain sight, who knows what they are doing to your cars. Go back and read the google reviews. Im ashamed that i trusted any of these people. I wouldn't even bring it in for a same day service since they can do anything while out of sight. My Soul is my third Kia. I've never owned any other brand of car, and once I pay this one off I was going to get another at this location. Now, I will not spend another penny at this location. I've already convinced one person who was going to come here to get a car next month not to do it. This was only one day after I picked my car up. I've got atleast another good 50 years in me and I'm a sales person so I will do my due diligence to make sure people know the truth. Theft is a crime!!! Leaving cars unlocked on your lot is irresponsible, Nick. You can talk about your signs all day, but it doesn't change the fact that a crime was committed. I have a theory that they did something wrong while in my car and I also believe that they knew my dashcam was missing when i came to pick it just based off how they were acting. Shady shady joke of a buisness, Nick. I don't know who you're covering for, but you're just as guilty. I have filed a police report about my stolen property, I have contacted corporate and the BBB. Don't let them steal from you too.
